    Simulation Fidelity

Evidence depends on the quantity and workload. CPU and P50/P95 results carry predictionEvidence labels: measured, scaled from measured, or reference estimate. Typical workload anchors are placeholder guidance, not official provider measurements; heavy is a product assumption. Ranges are assumption intervals, not confidence intervals. The lean AWS CRUD fit covers only its eligible topology at 10–1,000 offered RPS. At 50 RPS per m5.large server, typical targets roughly 20% host CPU versus the deliberately lean benchmark's 1.9%. Legacy results without evidence remain explicitly unavailable. This page lists source coverage for other estimates.

Benchmark data is sourced from official provider pricing pages and documentation as of August 2026. Prices vary by region; all rates shown are for the reference region listed beside each provider. The simulation engine applies provider-specific performance profiles and capacity-aware calculations — accuracy ranges are validated continuously via automated checks in the platform's CI pipeline.

The benchmark report runs the simulation engine head-to-head across all four providers — comparing cost accuracy, latency profiles, throughput, and error-rate behavior. Every number is reproducible and re-validated in CI.

These check keys are validated weekly by the automated pricing checker. Each key maps to a committed constant in the codebase; drift or errors surface as PostHog events.
